"The most powerful thing you can do to change the world is to change your own beliefs about the nature of life, people, and reality to something more positive. . .and begin to act accordingly."
— Shakti Gawain

Chrysalis Counseling Services PLLC is the independently operated private therapy practice of Juliana K. Tyler, located in Old Town Mukilteo. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you, and discuss how my services can best meet your needs.

I am available to schedule appointments Monday-Thursday from 9 am to 5 or 6 pm, depending on the day of the week.

You may reach me in any of the following ways:

By Phone

206.604.0996

I typically check voice messages once a day, and do my best to respond to all calls within 24-48 hours during the business week. Urgent voice messages from current clients will be returned within 24 hours. Occasionally technology fails, and a voice mail message left on the system does not reach me. If you are in crisis, the safest option is to always call the 24-hour crisis line at 425.258.4357, or, in life-threatening situations, dial 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room for care.

In order to protect your confidentiality, I do not exchange text messages with clients.

By Email

Email can be used for administrative matters, such as scheduling, but, due to the inability to guarantee the confidentiality of email communications, it should not be used for clinical consultation or other matters of a highly personal nature. Make sure to add this address to the Safe Senders List of your email program to ensure proper delivery of a response. Please always include your contact phone number in your email communication, even if you think that I already have it. If an email message of a personal nature is received, it will be addressed through a return phone call, as opposed to through an email response. I am not always able to check email daily during the work week, and do not check it on the weekends. Messages of an urgent or time sensitive nature should never be left by email.

Social Media and Networking

Therapy is most effective when it is conducted within the context of a safe relationship, and in an environment that includes clear boundaries. Protecting your confidentiality is of utmost importance to me. As a matter of policy, I do not connect with clients on social or professional networking sites such as Facebook or LinkedIn. Please don't be offended if your request to connect goes without acknowledgment or is declined.
